It's a three speed electric winch. The factory (13 years ago) used a 150 Amp ANN Fuse. Lewmar recommends a 110 Amp Slow Acting Circuit Breaker.

When the less used starboard winch gets tweeked with the sail hard trim with a "touch", it occassionally with blow that fuse. On the port side, where the winch is used more, it doesn't do that. It may be that the starboard winch doesn't downshift as smoothly because it isn't used as much.
