How much drop is acceptabe or normal?

If drop is high, then go step by step along the path.

Yesterday, nothing got hot, after about 5 minutes cranking over a 30 minute period.
Starter warmed to just below my finger temperature. Nothing else felt warm at all

What resistance is acceptable? I suspect my digital meter will show zero or close to that.
