Computers/laptops are for creating
Tablets are for consuming

Jill and I have a tablet each. They are nice for just checking mail or watching a video. BUT until I can get a tablet that can do Sailmail and has a USB port to run my Icom radio & Pactor modem, they will not be a primary on our boat.

So, I am with you Larry, waiting for something that works, not just a flashy item.
