I just downloaded a program for the Ipad called 'Photogene', only $3.00. A really good and simple photo program that can manipulate and post photos to a lot of places including your own FTP server. For now I'm going to explore uploading to our 'svtropicaldance.net' site using their FTP option and see what happens.

The ultimate short term goal is to retire my black Macbook to a desktop. Use the Ipad myself, get the Admiral a MacAir and get a small external hard drive with my now desktop Macbook on it so I can use her MacAir.

I've been playing around with the Ipad for 3 weeks now,,, not an easy change from a laptop.

The INavX & AyeTides programs are really nice for marine use.

Looks like 'Beryl' is not going to return to the Abacos but more likely North Florida or Georgia so we're leaving the marina in Hope Town. (great WiFi in the Abacos.)
