Just finished a new AP and instrument install too.

() It wasn't so much hard or complicated, there were just so many bits. 13 different components and wire strung between everyone one of them and of course there were several "Damn that doesn't fit where we thought it would go". All in all I think it took us about 50 hours, which is right about what the contractor quoted (i.e. we saved ourselves $5000 smackaroo's) and for that I am pleased as punch. I would hope though that the contractor could have done it in less time. Not confident I would have seen the savings though.
