Back in May we toured the Star of India in San Diego. This diorama really impressed us... the ship heavily laden in big seas, shredded jib, scraps of canvas, boarding wave sweeping across the deck. Having just finished reading "Two Years Before the Mast", we could really identify with the sailors who had to go aloft in those nasty, nasty conditions!

That maritime museum collection is well worth the visit!
