Cruising gear to the rescue!

I can't believe we are back in the USA and this takes place!
We got a text from our son last night that there is a warning on the news. As it turns out, there is an E-Coli outbreak in the city water supply here in the area we are living! The water tested positive LAST THURSDAY! And we just got word last night. Tried to call the water company, as expected you can't get them. Called the local HOA and they said they have no help. They (the HOA) have not even sent an email warning people in the area. The ONLY reason the local news carried the story was that one of the local schools must of heard about it and sent out a note to the parents asking for them to send bottled water with the kids so they can drink during the day.

**** AND THIS IS THE USA **** We were better off in Mexico.

They are telling us to boil ALL water we use. And all of the stores are out of bottled water.

So I made a fast trip to the boat storage area, picked up our 2 spare water jugs and our Mexico water UV filter system. So now we are OK.

But it sure is a pain to be in a house and have to use jug water for everything. At least on the boat we were plumbed for our own water.
