But I think you have better access than I do. On the Nor'Sea it's under the cockpit sole so access to the top of the engine is restricted, so putting oil in it is a pain. And I have the same problem with the dipstick. I have considered cutting out the cockpit foot well floor just to have access. But have chickened out. To much work for limited pay back.

We do have a feathering (not folding) prop. It is a three bladed one made by CDI quite some time ago. I think they only make a 2 blade feathering one now. It has worked very well for us! I liked it as I could remove/install underwater AND I can even adjust the pitch myself with the prop in place under water. I worried about breaking a blade, but so fat have not had any problems at all. And once I put it on I could back up like never before! Once did a 180 in a very narrow fairway when I was directed to the wrong slip. And as usual, no one watching to see this. Had I crashed I am sure 100's would have been on the sea wall!

You can see how close the coolant and oil fill is to the overhead. I have rigged up a funnel with a clear hose to it for filling.
