Duplex wire runs from the panels through an air vent inside the cockpit cubby on each side of the boat. The positive wires go to an in-line 15A fuse then to the controller, and the negative to a nearby bus bar (I'm going from memory but pretty sure this is right). The controller then feeds the main battery. I left a few extra feet of wire in the run so that I am able to move the panels onto the side decks for winter storage. I've never had to un-wire the panels but the simplest method would be to undo the cover of the junction box on the underside of the panels, and detach the wires there.
