That is an interesting design and a little bizzare.

Bizzare in that the concept for the 45'er, has bunks for 10! WTH? I understand that for charter, you need bunks, but 10? That sounds like a chartering boat owners nightmare. Can you imagine 10 college kids on a week bender in your boat?

But as you point out, the central area that is the accommodation space is large in this 45'er(unlike the typical center hull accommodation space in conventional tris), but it must also be shortish space. Bunks will fit in those areas around the center.

I'm not surprised by the price. A 50' anything, if it's close to new, has to be expensive. It costs a small fortune to build that big a boat today. Re-price it in 20 years....
