My Lavac is fed from the galley using a 3/4" hose at least 15 ft long. It works fine. Lavac has a powerful Henderson pump to pull it through, I don't know how the PHII would compare but Iwould guess it would be fine.

Just my opinion.... 
- That's what I do
- I feed the salt water for my "Marine Elagance"
- One More idea to reduce the amount of holes in our boat
- I wouldn't do it
