Jon, sure glad to see you are doing fine (considering the aletrnatives)

I spent the night on Aliza at the marina. This is my 3rd horicane and it was the worst and the closest to a major disaster. We were within inchs of floating the entire marina away and getting a major pile of yachts, one on top of another. I had the engine running all night and looked at the signs of the docks moving away... It did not happand however you could see in this photo that some of the docks did float over the top and did not go down at the place they need to be. I took some more photos of docks that just ripped the mechanical connection as they came down. This dock got stuck as its waight is not that big and there was no yacht tied to it. The big dinner/party boat (Royal Princess) just one dock before (fule dock) right next to Aliza, would have ripped the whole dock system if it would have floated to the wrong place.

As it is Aliza is doing fine and I have to deal with just 2 down trees and no electricity.
