The sticks those houses are built on are in ...... sand. They may not be flooded but any serious water and the foundation is gone and then the home.

Years ago only fishermen built there and they built what could be rebuilt in a short time. They understood the power of mother nature. She'll never let us forget but obviously there is a group of people the continue to try and forget.
