Question about charge voltage

I was at the boat yesterday and noted my battery monitor was flashing "hi" and the voltage was at 14.94v.

The MPPT solar charge controller has a temperature sense input and considers battery temp in its charge algorithm, but that charge level had me a bit concerned that I might cook the batteries. These are conventional wet cells. Ambient temperature was averaging high 40's and although I didn't take an independent reading I would guess that the battery bank temp is in that range. I disconnected the solar panel inputs to the charge controller.

I know charge voltages need to be increased in cold temps, but not sure if this is too high. Anyone have any thoughts about that?
