She's nailed together and we had used an epoxy glue on the seams as instructed by the kit manufacturer but not being a wood worker and helped by a six year old, she's not as tight as per spec

Anyway, we had loads of fun, learned a lot, and he is very happy with himself over this endeavor. I watched him show the almost finished boat to my wife and he went into detail in nearly every aspect about the work put in and how we accomplished it.

Now for the steering wheel .......... I told him he'd have to figure that one out by himself.

Paint and name are up after we tape the seams. Currently it's racing stripes and "Thunder Rain" for the name; again that's exclusively for him to do though I'll help paint the name or have it made up for him.
