Tom, you say that about just about any

coastal strip around the world. Let's see, the San Blas Islands off Panama (Kuna Land for Dan), Venice, Italy was talked about the other day here on the board as well as the Barrier Islands. Water rising has been going on around the world for years. The Indians don't want to be relocated to mainland in Panama. The people of Venice just keep moving up in floors and abandoning the ground level. Someday people will just have to move inland but it's not going to be easy convincing them. As you say "This is home, this represents an unfathomable amount of $$$ to countless people that is now, completely in jeopardy." Unless we figure out a way to build a dike down the entire eastern and western seaboards and turn this place into a huge Holland, it's a done deal. Just a matter of time. IMHO.
