Pam and I bought ten acres of land in the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York, a second dream I've had. So we've decided to sell Drift Away. I'd keep it if I could afford to, but $8k a year for something I'd use just a few months in the winter doesn't compute now that I'm retired.

I listed the boat on Craig's list in Brunswick GA, Savannah GA, and Jacksonville FL and have gotten a half dozen serious inquiries. I also just met with a broker who drove here from Beaufort, SC who will try to sell the boat with a non-exclusive listing.

When Drift Away sells and we drive away, looking at it for the last time, it will be a very sad day indeed.
