A friend (Cat 42) has a diesel/hot air thing that's just incredible - push the button and there's hot air from the ducts. It's saved me from the terminal shivers once. He had some fancy name for it - hypothermia (perhaps hyper..) - seemed relieved when my teeth stopped clattering together.
