I just started the obsessive thinging about what needs attention on the boat. Was comfortable but you know how it is when you change the dynamic of having kids. I started thinking I need to repower, get the chainplates replaced, and on and on and on... I'll get there.

Really looking forward to talking them to the lake Erie islands and spending time in Canada. I cannot imagine the difference of cruising with my family and watching them see/do these things for the first time. Pretty exciting.

One thing I keep thinking about is one of the previous posts about buying another boat. I love my boat (a Chance 30/30) but the thought of getting a boat with a newer diesel and a little bigger does sound good as opposed to working on mine. Also like the thought of a full keel boat since the great lakes apparently are going to be a puddle soon;) My swept back keel does concern me at times on lake Erie. I may have to do what Jon did on his boat and get a winged keel. Alot to obsess about:)
