Chris, there are two perfect examples of what Tom said currently for sale in our club. One owner I have known for many years, he had a plan in place that was supposed to come together upon his retirement. I watched as each piece happened up to and including last winter when he was putting the final touches on "the boat". He moved up in size every few years to finally end up with the boat he has, spent many thousands of dollars and his own time, plus paying for things to be done to get it ready. All new electronics, radar, etc and so forth. His plan was to retire and do the ARC. Well, the boat is done, he retired and now only a few months later the boat is for sale and he is looking for a trawler.
Things change.
