... the Jumentos have been crowded for a few years now, since Monty put them on his charts. Not like they used to be but what is ? Still awfully nice. We usually go to the Jumentos in April and May. By then, just about everyone is long gone, in fact the last three years we were the only boat there most days, and I'm not talking anchorages, but the island chain. The VHF is silent except for an occasional blip from the Long Island fishermen. Two years ago we were there for 3 weeks in May and saw maybe 2-3 boats the entire time, amazing. We skip the top 2/3'rds and have been spending all our time the between Johnson and the very south end of Little Ragged, at the very end, Coco Bay ... just lovely down there. Tons of hamburgers and no people. But don't tell anyone !
