Many of my blog followers wonder why we linger in one place so long, instead of scooting up and down the coast like everyone else. My wife and I like staying in a place we like and immersing ourselves in the local culture. We love Brunswick and the Golden Isles of Georgia and could find no good reason to leave. Things like this is why.

Last weekend was "Peaches to the Beaches", the world's longest garage sale, stretching for 200 miles along highway 341 here in Georgia. It ends in Brunswick's Mary Ross Park, next to our marina. Besides all the usual vendors selling garage sale stuff and the farmers' market people selling their wares, there was the Brunswick Belly Dancer.
