I have 3 wires coming off my battery: House (1 AWG wire runs 5' to a 50A breaker); Windlass (2/0 runs 15' to a 100A breaker); SSB (6 AWG runs 15' to a 30A fuse). I am working in a pretty tight space, and don't have enough vertical clearance to use Blue Sea MRBFs directly on the battery. I am planning to put in a 100A ANL fuse for the windlass and SSB, and a separate 50A MRBY for House. (If necessary I could do a second, separate MRBF for the SSB but I believe 6 AWG is rated for 100A).
I feel more comfortable keeping the House on a separate circuit.
Anything wrong with this plan?
Thanks, Max
