Question on Link 2000 replacement.

I've just arrived back at the boat in Annapolis. The past 2 years our Link 2000 was acting up and appears it's now failed completely and needs to be replaced as it won't trigger the inverter and I need to do it directly on the unit. I'm going to play with the wires as sometimes sitting can build up corrosion making no contact. If I can't get it to work????

We have an older Heart 2,500 watt inverter/charger that's working fine. We only have one large house bank and want to monitor that bank and also start and stop the invertor/charger and equalize the batteries. The boat is up for sale so I'm not looking for a top of the line monitoring system, just something that does the job remotely. The Heart invertor/charger has a telephone line cable connection for triggering

Anyone have a recommendation that won't empty the account?
