Besides the Link 2000 Heart made a basic control panel that did not have any digital readout. It was only a series of lights that showed approximate voltage, amperage,etc. It controlled any Freedom charger and originally cost about $100. It has a bunch of dip switches on the back that would allow it to be adjusted for battery type, inverter use, equalize, etc.

If you could find this panel it shouldn't be very expensive and would control the Freedom charger you have. It does have the phone cable to connect to the Charger, same as the Link 2000.

So, I would ask around to see if you could find one of these.
