It looked like a network cable but only 4 wires. I agree, the replacement connectors available shouldn't be anywhere near a marine environment. It's been working now for 3 days and I have more important issues to address before I leave on Saturday so it's staying that way till either I return or the boat is sold. I purchased a new 25' phone cable but I'm afraid to touch the darn thing to install it or even make a quick run from the Link to the invertor to test it so I'm going to just leave the new cable on the boat for now.
