I've trying to figure out what bridge he might have hit in that area, a Tayana 37 certainly shouldn't have any problem with the bridges on the ICW... Might he have been going up the river beyond Brunswick, perhaps?

Whatever he hit, certainly looks like he did so at a pretty good clip... Doesn't surprise me at all, that boat has a bimini over the cockpit, those things drive me nuts whenever I have to attempt to eyeball a close call with air draft, they can be a huge impediment to your judgement...
