The technology in those big cats is very exciting. I don't think they can take the danger out of the sport. Any big cat or tri is likely more dangerous in a capsize so I think they have to address the drowning issue that increases with the size of the platform you're apt to get trapped under(how do you do that?).

I've never watched an entire AC event, in my life. Sailboat racing has to be one of the more obscure spectator sports. The speeds involved with these big cats would be exciting to watch. I hope they play this out to the end. Next AC, maybe another idea. It's always been about the newest, the fastest.
