All good things must come to an end, I guess. Drift Away is STILL in the water (ugh) but will be hauled soon, and we've been working on clearing our land to build our Unabomber Cabin. I went on Google Earth to survey our surroundings near the cabin we're renting while we're building ours and I saw a small pond closeby. Last night, Pam and I hiked over to it. Mountain lakes and ponds will be the only water around us for awhile.
I supposedly have a decent offer coming in on Drift Away, and if it sells, that will be it for at least several years while I build our place. If the offer is lame, I'll keep Drift Away and we'll spend the winter cruising from Jacksonville over to the west coast of Florida for a few months, and I'll post photos again.
So, so long, at least for awhile. I'll pop in once in awhile, mainly on rainy days, to see what's going on.
