is a fine example of a proper doghouse. A lovely feature unfortunately rarely seen anymore. Sometimes they are raised, like doggy doghouses, with benches, windows, and the companionway . . take a look at a Fife.
And so what if the wheel is aft? When it rains on Thunderhead, you have the paid hand steer.
I see a boat like that and I get goosebumps on my goosebumps.
I think you got a rating allowance for a piano under CCA (you certainly got some advantage if it was low enough to serve as unmeasured ballast).
