If you're traveling in the tropics without a full boat awning more power to ya! The Sun is your friend and enemy!

I continue to be amazed at the people that don't have awnings. When I use a temp sensor I have a 20 degree difference in the shade of the awning vs the Sun and once the boat heats up then it seems to radiate well into the night, even if the breeze is cool.
