Ken, I read your posting literally as I was walking in to WM to take a look at the ladders again. I had looked on their site last night and thought that might work. But some of the reviews were pretty negative about how the ladder bends under the bottom of the boat as you try to climb. My dad had told me how the launch drivers on battleships actually climbed up the side of such a ladder, but could do so because they were climbing to an overhead boom. After considering the ladders that hook over the gunwale, some of which fold down the last two steps, I opted for the Sea Dog... I really like your solution as it is unobtrusive, available from the water, and the least expensive option. But, I think I best try it while dockside for the first time to see if I can actually get out and onto the boat. Any tips you have for doing that would be appreciated!
