You are correct, if only going for a short time, and not far, WiFi is most likely the way to go. They make range extenders that are low cost and will help you a lot.

BUT, with Sailmail, you can do shadow mail. The radio system picks up the headers from your normal email account. You can then decide if you want to delete mail items. Or, you can request the full email the next time you use the radio.

Just a small thing.
