Not all are health care insurance providers, but none the less, they all exercise some rather "interesting" practices on their policy holders when it comes to crunch time. Maybe they don't have large buildings to their names, but they certainly don't have customer care as their number one goal either.
At least two of these companies provide health care insurance in the US. Bottom line... buyer beware when using any of the companies mentioned in that paper. And keep in mind that the US does not have a single payer health care system... the third party payer system we have is basically run by the insurance companies... who take their profits right off the top. "Death panels" anyone?
