I'm guessing most Americans don't realize that the National Football League, at the corporate level, is a non-profit organization...
They pay no corporate taxes, yet manage to figure a way to pay NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell roughly $30 million per annum...
Few things better illustrate how skewed our priorities are in this country... Most taxpayers apparently don't seem to care that they might be funding the building of sports stadiums for billionalre team owners to the tune of hundreds of millions... But, heaven forbid a few bucks might go towards subsidizing any healthcare for 40 million of our uninsured fellow citizens... (grin)
