Tools are the crack cocaine of the building industry and the big tool manufacturers have created a vast population of junkies. Whenever I see a builder, electrician or plumber come onto a project, festooned with bright yellow, orange and irridescent green tools, I worry they might not be up to what we need. Go to any big box home store, the tools aisles are bigger than the lumber aisles.

I think the multi tool you posted is one of those check out aisle things like a candy bar, or little package of blow, they can't resist.

When you said multi tool, I thought you were talking about one of those Fein gizmos. In decades, I only once borrowed one of those from a supplier to do something odd. After using it, I realized I didn't need it then, and never have since.
