Gotta cut twice Todd. First cut about half way up

shows you which way the grain slants. Second cut from the low side, which ever that is. Might have to make a paring slice to finish.
And I have sliced thousands of them-grin
But I do love my Porter Cable, much better than the old Fein tool. The quick no tools blade change sold me.
