() I had that happen in Rockport Harbor and I had no where to go. 
I realized it was a race and they all took off. It was blowing 20 to 25 out of the west as the group headed to the finish line in Lincolnville, 10 miles north up Penobscot Bay. I noticed my plumber friend, George on one. I thought he must have gone crazy as he is my age! He made it to Lincolnville---
One plus to SUPs for us, unlike kayaks or swimmers, you can see them in front of you(unless they're doing yoga).
