What we use....
In Response To: interior teak question ()

on the inside is a combo.

We have what we thought was "old" teak aboard Guenevere, and a lot of it inside! Jill will not let me cut it in any way as it's very hard to match with the newer wood now days. When we made a trip to Vietnam, we were taught that they have classes of Teak, they call them "standard teak" and "water teak". We have the water teak on Guen. What they call water teak is the darker, richer color.

For the head area, we use Deks Olje #1. It looks like oiled wood, not shinny, but makes it water proof as it's absorbed into the wood. We take a lot of showers in there and it's held up VERY well! I think we refreshed it once in the last 15 +/- years. We also used the Deks on the outside with the #2 with good results, another thread......

For all other teak, inside, Jill uses the "Amazon" products. She uses them about once a year or so and it all looks SOOOOO GGGOOOOOODDDD!

About once a year, to year in a half, she uses; Amazon One Step Teak Cleaner (Quarts are about $13.32 on Amazon.com)
then she uses Amazon_MDR TP950 TEAK PREP (32 OZ. about $16.01 on Amazon.com)
finally, about twice a year she goes over it all with Amazon's Teak (Oil Qt.about $29.99 on Amazon.com)
