In a number of jurisdictions the capacity of the clip, the extendable stock, and the flash suppressor might class that as an assault weapon.

I'm not sure that means that much in terms of the constitutional and political right to bear. But the definition, to me is a distinction without much difference.

There are a lot of places in the world that allow assault weapons to be owned without much restriction. Some, but only a few, are relatively safe places to visit
