The author made an attempt at journalism(trying to show both sides), but the readers didn't want it. Unfortunately many of us would rather follow our own bias and ignore journalism.

It's getting rare(journalism). What's the most unbiased sailing magazine? How about websites? Could anyone critique a sailboat without their own bias? Probably not but you can find similar bias, and enjoy reading it.
