• Fresh water pump - pressure shutoff
  • Two possible issues
    • If it's an older system you most
      • Water hammer? No accumulator?
        • Yes, The water pressure is controled by
          • The air reduces the water hammer, per se.
            • That's true but as you close the tap
          • That is what I am assuming
            • Can't be 10.6 gpm? (You'd be putting out fires ;^))) )
              • Oops - my goof existing pump is Shurflo
                • I only have used the simple Surflo's
                  • Good idea on leak test
      • We have an accumulator, it's possible that it's that -- but unlikely
      • The accumulator tanks I'm familar with
        • I'm not so sure thtt the power requirments
          • Maybe on the sum of the energy used; however, the peak loads seem higher
            • Having no imperical knowledge or data
        • Have an accumulator in house right now that leaks, needs replacing....
          • You can make an accumlator out
            • The accumlator is a surge tank, not just an fuild or air hammer mitigation device.
              • Ah, so like the tank in a well system, same same.
