I switch from deck level to masthead
In Response To: Do you use your deck level lights under sail?... ()
once I clear the coast or harbor. My masthead has an LED and I'm under power most of the time in harbor or close to the coast. I don't seem to have any issue with the radios. The SSB backstay insulator is about 6 feet down from the light.
