Did you know these folks, by any chance?

Pretty amazing story, the skipper and crew seem like pretty cool customers, sounds like they did everything possible to try to save her... I'm guessing the only thing that would have saved this boat, would be a watertight aft collision bulkhead:

BTW, a couple of weeks ago in Annapolis, I met the likely next owners of BIZIM... A young Brazilian couple, really nice folks, planning on a circumnavigation... I think she'll be in good hands...
