I've had the pleasure of breaking bread with Charlie and his family at the family retreat, and we had a great time. Interesting old house too, with some history. Perhaps we'll be lucky enough to do it again some time.
PS -- don't ever take "shelter" in Padanarum in a SE wind. We had 3-4 foot chop in the harbor that night, in winds gusting in the high twenties, and it was memorable.... Felt a few hard jerks on the (single) mooring pennant that made us wonder if we'd stay attached. Getting on/off the launch was a challenge of grace and timing I'd have rigged a backup bridle but that would have been too dangerous.
