The bimini and dodger should give total shade to your skin. Sun protection for most of us, is not about looking good.
And with refrigeration, if you don't want to run your engine to charge your batteries, you'll need charging alternatives. A combination of solar and wind(especially, quieter wind generation) seems like a good choice that covers more conditions you'll likely encounter in weather and anchorages.
And those of us around you sharing the solitude and sanctity of nature, thank you for not running your engine or generator.
Refrigeration aside, charging needs are getting better in one area. Just for fun, I charged ipad, 2 iphones, a garmin glo gps remote antenna, during the afternoon and overnight, on USB 5V chargers. I have 1961 tech Amp meters. But I know them so well, I can tell quite accurately my state of charge with them, when I start charging with the Balmar.
Barely perceptible in the load on the high output alternator the next day. Compare that to running and charging a Macbook(or two at times), which was too much for a simple 2 grp27 battery bank(belt burner).
That and LED reading lights, and we'll go days and days now without need of charging. But that's only if we stick with ice for cooliing which we're lucky enough to have in our sailing area.
