While you're in Oxnard stop by the 'Rudder Room'

It's a sleaze bar/pool hall on the beach, north side of the harbor entrance. The Admiral and I met in Oxnard in 1999. One Sunday morning at 6:30 AM we took a walk on the beach and came upon it. Walked in and it was almost full at the bar with people playing pool. WHAT! full at 6:30am Sunday morning?
We had a Bloody Mary before continuing on our Sunrise walk on the beach.
