Our grocery stores (rural Virginia) are getting more adventurous

and I can usually find a decent IPA. I drink weird. I take my IPA from the fridge and open it when I start making dinner, and drink about half of it. I have a glass of red Chateau Carton with dinner, then finish the IPA when I sit in front of my computer after dinner . . . like now. It's now room temperature, but a good beer will stand that, and is actually better than at fridge temperature.
I am not a fanatic -- I watch the price of my brews. This week it's Long Hammer IPA, but I'll get my SS next week and Ill go up a notch.
