It was blowing pretty hard in the great harbor of Mount Desert Island when we sailed out toward Schoodic last Sunday. On the way back we passed close to Bear Island (inside the buoy) and I got a nice picture of the light. A great sail, except that in the strong wind some of the stitching holding the sun cover onto the leech of my genoa gave up. Took the sail to the sail loft Tuesday morning. It goes back on the boat today.
