They had to remotely set the WiFi to use a "Google protocol". After he adjusted the protocol, our boat's WiFi bridge worked. It happened between one weekend and another. I know not why. I don't use Google Chrome or have Google as our default web page. We use IE on Windows 7 machines.

Recently, our varied iPods and iPads and iPhones have been having problems with connections. Might be their new IOS with thier Safari browsers -- WTFK?

    - It might as simple as a Fixed IP address or some other setting?

        Correction
- I like you neeed to enter the "password" at every marina
- It is an authentication problem
- Some WiFi networks block streaming content...
  - You can easily get around that
    - Dunno if my smart tv is that smart
      - use a gateway router or HDMI
    - The slower wi-fi networks may not connect a VPN
      - VPN overhead
